Introducing New Luxe Subscriptions

We love that our customers love to use Luxe and that they continue to use us more than once. In fact we know that more than 80% of customers who trial Luxe become repeat customers. And for that we are grateful. Thank you!

We know that not all Luxe customers have the same needs and we’ve been testing a subscriptions offer to learn more, and design the best plans to meet their needs. Some want to use us occasionally, others more frequently; some during the day to go to work; others have no place at home to park at night, or simply need a secure place to store their car during the week and have it returned for weekend use. Whatever the case, today we are thrilled to have all our customers’ needs covered with new Luxe Subscriptions and available directly in the app.

Luxe Subscriptions suit various parking needs on a monthly basis and are now available to be purchased directly in the Luxe app*. Starting today, our customers can simply open the app and tap Subscriptions from the left tab and select a plan that is most suited to their needs.

  • Luxe Commuter – ranging from $139 to $369 per month this subscription type is for daytime use to a driver’s destination and offered at three different levels based on frequency of use: Light, Basic and Plus.
  • Luxe Residential – ranging from $224 to $599 per month this subscription type is for anyone who needs parking at home, and covers everything from the occasional Sunday driver to the reverse commuter leaving the city every day for work.
  • Luxe Unlimited – ranging from $339 to $799 per month depending on your location, Luxe Unlimited is for the Luxe power user and is a full unlimited plan which includes using Luxe daily, overnight and to store their car at anytime.

Introducing Luxe Car Care
With one-click of the button, customers have frequently used Luxe to fill up their gas tanks, get their cars washed, and get oil changes. Today we are excited to announce that we’re also introducing a Car Care subscription which is available automatically as part of a new in-app Luxe Subscription or for $19.99 separately.

Car Care includes discounts on the monthly use of gas refills (no surcharge on up to four gas refills); car washes ($5 off unlimited car washes); and oil changes ($15 off unlimited oil changes).

By introducing new Luxe Subscriptions and Car Care we are making it simple for people to own a car and get to what they want to do and enjoy, by making parking and maintaining a car an affordable, flexible and convenient experience.

Tie One On For Safety With MADD And Show Your Commitment To Never Drink And Drive With Drive Home

Did you know that every 52 minutes drunk driving ends a life and that drunk driving is a 100% preventable crime that costs Americans $500 million a year?

This month we’re partnering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving in its Tie One On For Safety campaign to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.

You can show your support by donating to MADD and receive a limited edition window decal of the MADD red ribbon. By displaying a red ribbon on your car, you are reminding others to plan ahead and designate a non-drinking driver before holiday celebrations begin. And with Luxe we can provide that designated driver as part of our Drive Home* service!

Drive Home is a service we provide to ensure that our customers who find that they are unable to drive themselves home, can request a Luxe valet to pick them up in their own car and make sure that they and their car get home safely.

Chicago overnight street parking ban? Need a place to store your car? We’ve got you covered!

The Chicago winter overnight street parking ban has begun and we’re here to help you stress less about where to store your car. Additionally, residents have been asked to remove their cars from the street when there is 2″ or more of snow. Don’t be left out in the cold—use Luxe to have someone come pick-up your car anywhere in our zone and store it in one of our secure lots. 

Starting today through March 31st, we’re offering overnight parking for only $10. Simply select Overnight parking as an additional service in the app each day that you require it. For all your other daily parking needs, we’ll be operating per usual.

If you are interested in a longer-term solution, we also offer Monthly Residential Subscriptions. Take advantage of door-to-door service to your home and rest assured your car will be stored in a secure lot and off the streets.

Going home for the Holidays? Need a place to store your car?

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we want to help you stress less about where to store your car while you’re enjoying the Holiday with family and friends.

Starting this Monday, November 23 to Sunday, November 29, 2015, we’re offering Overnight parking for $5 only per night. Simply select Overnight parking as an additional service in the app each day that you require it, and we’ll store your car in one of our secure parking lots.

You can also use our Schedule Return feature to let us know when and where to return your vehicle to you, as well as select from the many car services that we provide to have your car returned with a full tank of gas; sparkly clean from a car wash; and/or have the oil changed!

And for those of you in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston, we can even get your car ready for the Winter, with our new Winterize My Car additional service.

Please also take note that our hours of operations will be different than normal this coming Wednesday, November 25 to Saturday, November 28. See below for our Thanksgiving Hours. Don’t forget to pick up your car ahead of closing hours or leave your car overnight with us for just $5 per night. We will resume our normal hours on Sunday, November 29.

For our friends in the colder parts of the country who are expecting severe weather soon, we are offering a special Winterize My Car additional service. We want to take the hassle and pain out of wondering what you need in order to be ready for Winter, by doing it for you!

Starting today, customers in New York and Chicago, can tap the Winterize My Car* service card in the app and receive:

  • Wiper fluid topped off
  • Antifreeze flushed and filled
  • Battery, Headlights and Heater checked
  • Brakes inspection
  • Tire pressure checked and air added

Launching Oil Changes

Additionally, we are now offering Oil Changes* in New York and Chicago, another critical part of getting ready for Winter. Customers can select to have their oil changed, by selecting either the Conventional Oil Change or Synthetic Oil Change in the app, after they park with us.

For customers who park their cars on the streets, this Winter also presents a perfect opportunity to ensure your car is stored in a safe, covered and warm location, by choosing a monthly Residential subscription plan with Luxe.

New Drive Home Simplified Pricing and Drive Home For Business

In time for the Holiday season parties and events today we are announcing new simplified pricing for our Drive Home service available in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, Boston and Chicago.

We launched Drive Home back in June 2015 as a partnership with Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD), to ensure that our customers who find that they are unable to drive themselves home, can request a Luxe valet to pick them up in their own car and make sure that they and their car get home safely. At Luxe, our mission is to make sure that our users never feel encumbered by owning a car in the city.

Drive Home is provided for a maximum radius of up to 50 miles and is covered by our industry leading $5M insurance policy. We also donate $1 to MADD for each Drive Home service.

We love when Halloween falls on a Saturday! It gives us just a little more time to linger at our costume parties and we don’t have to worry about being too tired the next day at work.
