Black Friday Parking Made Simple with Luxe & Westfield San Francisco Centre

It’s once again time for America’s busiest shopping day of the year — Black Friday! This year, we’ve partnered with Westfield San Francisco Centre to create a traditional valet stand so you can park easy, save time, and avoid the parking madness. And if you still need to do some shopping after Black Friday, we’ll be there through the end of the year!

How it works

  • Pull your car up to the valet stand on Mission Street between 4th and 5th Street (outside of Bloomingdales).
  • Simply hand our valets your keys, and head into Westfield San Francisco Centre.
  • When you’re done, pop out to the valet stand. We’ll bring your car back to you, and you’re on your way!
  • Pricing is $10 for the first hour and $5 for every additional half-hour. If you’re shopping all day, $40 is all you pay. You can pay by cash or card — your choice.

This Thanksgiving, Donate Food When You Park with Luxe!

Thanksgiving is a time to come together with family and friends and celebrate the things you’re most thankful for. Luxe is working with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and The Austin Salvation Army to help families in need make the most of their Thanksgiving by providing access to donated food from people like you.

Starting today until Wednesday, November 23rd, we’re making it incredibly easy for you to contribute. All you have to do is park with Luxe and bring your boxed or bagged donations with you. We’ll do the rest!

How It Works:

  • Please clearly mark all non-perishable food donations and place in a box or bag.
  • Park with Luxe and select “Give Back with Luxe” from the “Add-Ons” menu.
  • Leave your donation in your car and a Luxe Valet will then pick up your donation and drop it off at the designated donation center in your city.

Are You Wondering What You Should Donate?

Well, what would YOU want to eat? Answering that question is a great way of picking a good selection of items to donate this Thanksgiving. Non-perishable food items are preferred, and there’s a high demand for these popular items:

  • Peanut butter
  • Canned beans
  • Canned chili
  • Canned soups and stews
  • Preserved fruits
  • Canned veggies
  • Canned fish

Clean out your closet with Luxe and Goodwill!

Before Spring comes to an end, we’ve partnered with Goodwill® to collect gently used clothing such as jackets, shirts, pants, blouses and any other items of clothing you’re shedding and would like to donate. And for every bag you donate, we’ll donate $1 to Goodwill.

Goodwill sells donations in its stores and online and uses the revenue to help people find jobs, earn paychecks, build their careers, support their families and build stronger communities. Together, as a community, we’re helping Goodwill put people back to work. Read the personal stories of people Goodwill has helped through your donations.

Here’s how you can spring clean for a good cause when you park with Luxe

  • Select the Give to Goodwill service from the Add-Ons menu after you park with us starting today till June 1.
  • Place your clothing donation in a bag clearly marked for Goodwill and leave it in the front seat (not the trunk) for a Luxe valet to collect.
  • All donations should be new or gently used, and must be clothing only. For more information on what to, and not to, donate please click here.
  • All Seattle customers will receive their donation receipts via email after completion of the service.
  • All NYC customers can download their donation receipt here.

Feeling Lucky? Win Free Drive Home Service This St. Patrick’s Day!

Drive Home is Luxe’s exclusive service that let’s you get home safe in your own car when you are unable to drive. Simply select Drive Home after parking with us and a valet will pick you up in your own vehicle and drive you, and your car, home.

To win, all you need to do is select the clover leaf service card in the app, after you park with us, from today through Wednesday, March 16. You can enter as many times as you like and winners will be announced via email.

This weekend and next in San Francisco, we’ve partnered for a very special cause with The Princess Project, in its drive for collecting new or gently used formal gowns and accessories for deserving young teens.

The Princess Project promotes self confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school teens who cannot otherwise afford them.

Here’s how you can get involved, when you park with Luxe

  • Select The Princess Project additional service from the Add Ons menu after you park with us this weekend, February 20 and 21, and next, February 27 and 28
  • Accessories, prom dresses, formal gowns or fancy party dresses need to be clearly marked for The Princess Project and left in the front seat (not the trunk) for a Luxe valet to collect them for donation
  • All donations should be new or gently used, in excellent condition and bought in the last five years. Items should also be dry-cleaned and on hangers

This 2016, say no more to parking tickets!

It’s mid-January which means that according to a recent study, one in three people have already forgotten about their New Year’s Resolutions. We want to give people a second chance at making a resolution that they can stick with: no more parking tickets in 2016!

Parking tickets and parking problems are increasingly on the rise where cities are raising ticket prices; collecting more than $100 million in traffic fines; doubling the number of paid parking spots; facing a parking shortage due to a population boom, and issuing a prolific number of tickets each year. In New York alone a parking ticket officer issued 19,000 tickets in 2015!

At Luxe, we want to make parking the most seamless experience and are asking people to say no more to parking tickets in 2016. And to help people kick off their new goal, we’re offering Parking Ticket Amnesty, where we will select folks who tweet a photo of a parking ticket they’ve received to @luxevalet, along with a caption telling us what happened and #ParkingProblems, to receive up to $100 matched in Luxe credits. In total, we will provide up to $10,000 in credits from today til February 2, 2016.

How it works:

Tie One On For Safety With MADD And Show Your Commitment To Never Drink And Drive With Drive Home

Did you know that every 52 minutes drunk driving ends a life and that drunk driving is a 100% preventable crime that costs Americans $500 million a year?

This month we’re partnering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving in its Tie One On For Safety campaign to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.

You can show your support by donating to MADD and receive a limited edition window decal of the MADD red ribbon. By displaying a red ribbon on your car, you are reminding others to plan ahead and designate a non-drinking driver before holiday celebrations begin. And with Luxe we can provide that designated driver as part of our Drive Home* service!

Drive Home is a service we provide to ensure that our customers who find that they are unable to drive themselves home, can request a Luxe valet to pick them up in their own car and make sure that they and their car get home safely.

We’re also showing our support by announcing today that for every Drive Home service in the month of December, we’ll donate $10 (up from $1) to MADD.
